Hanauma Bay Parking Information
Planning to drive to Hanauma Bay? Here is what you need to know about parking on-site:
- Limited Spaces: There are only 300 parking stalls available in the entire lot.
- Fills Up Fast: The parking lot fills up very early in the morning and is monitored by security. The parking gates open daily at 6:45 a.m. (except Mondays and Tuesdays when the park is closed).
- Cash Only: Parking fees are cash-only and must be paid on-site. Credit and debit cards are not accepted at the parking booth.
- Rates: * Non-residents: $3.00
- Hawaiʻi Residents (with valid State ID): $1.00
- No Parking Guarantees: Having an online admission reservation does not guarantee or reserve a parking space. If the lot is full when you arrive, you must either wait for a space to open up or find legal street parking nearby and walk into the preserve.
