Visiting Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is an experience that cannot be missed while in Hawaii. However, parking at Hanauma Bay can be a bit of a challenge due to the limited number of parking stalls available. With only 300 parking stalls available and a daily limit of only 1400 people allowed to enter into the park, we recommend arriving early to ensure your chances of getting a parking spot. The park opens up at 6:45 a.m., and cars are typically lined up at that time waiting to get in. The cost for parking at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is $3 for each vehicle, and local residents with valid ID only need to pay $1. If you prefer a stress-free option, a transportation package is now available for a Waikiki pickup that includes your snorkel gear. Hanauma Bay is approximately 11 miles from Waikiki and takes about 30 minutes to drive. So plan ahead and enjoy this amazing place with ease!
