Dolphin Excursions begins as our highly maneuverable zodiac departs from Waianae Boat Harbor. We travels along the scenic west coast of Oahu in search of Spinner Dolphins. Take some of the most incredible photographs of your vacation as the Spinners come to visit you and perform their superb aerial stunts. Few people have the opportunity to see these spectacular displays. Spinner dolphins can make 3 to 4 spins on a single jump. You’ll have plenty of time to experience their spins, flips, fin and tail slaps. The boat’s maneuverability also allows us to easily shift position for the best possible viewing, and it’s low profile makes the view unforgettable.
Occasionally, we encounter Bottle nose Dolphins, Spotted Dolphins and Green Sea Turtles too. In winter, dolphins share the waters with mighty Humpback Whales. The Nai’a I is fast and maneuverable, to get you out to the whales quickly. Even a baby whale (calf) appears to be enormous from your perspective. Other whale species often visit our waters from time to time like Pilot Whales. Our daily dolphin tours are led by seasoned naturalist that know the behavior and locations along the Waianae cost where these large pods of dolphins call home.
Once we complete our dolphin swim, we head back to the Waianae Boat Harbor for lunch at the spinner cafe. It has a full menu of local cuisine will be ready for you.
