50th Annual Honolulu Marathon winds its way through Waikiki Dec 11th

The Honolulu Marathon is Back and Better Than Ever!

Registration for the 50th annual Honolulu Marathon is now open! This year’s marathon will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The Honolulu Marathon is one of the most popular marathons in the world, attracting over 25,000 participants from all 50 states and more than 70 countries. The marathon is open to everyone aged seven years or older.

What can you expect when you register for the marathon? First, you’ll receive a packet in the mail that includes your race number, an information booklet, and other materials. You’ll also receive a official Honolulu Marathon t-shirt that you can wear on race day.

The marathon will start at 5 am on Sunday morning. The course takes runners through downtown Honolulu, past Iolani Palace and the Christmas lights, through Waikiki and up and around Diamond Head. There are turn-around points at Hawaii Kai and Kahala before runners head back towards Kapiolani Park. The marathon finishes in Kapiolani Park, where there will be refreshments and entertainment for runners and their families.

The Honolulu Marathon is a great opportunity to see some of the best sights in Honolulu while running or walking 26 miles. It’s also a great way to meet people from all over the world and make new friends. So what are you waiting for? Register today!
