Extended Snorkel Tour
Our Extended Snorkel Tour is a 4 1/2 hour package with round trip transportation from the Waikiki hotels to Hanauma Bay State Park. This includes all your snorkel gear and a narrated tour with information about Hanauma Bay history and snorkeling tips. Once you arrive at the bay our tour guides help to gear up our guest, make sure the snorkel equipment fits properly and explains the proper use. They also give safety tips along with some of the best locations at the Hanauma Bay experience the over 300 different varieties of tropical fish. After paying your $7.50 entry fee and watching a short 9 minute orientation video, guests can head down lower level and find a spot on the sand. Hanauma Bay State Park has lockers available to store your valuables you go snorkeling in the beautiful blue water.
Hanauma Bay & North Shore Tour
The Hanauma Bay & North Shore snorkel tour combines the world famous North Shore in the morning time as well as an afternoon snorkeling at Hanauma Bay State Park. Your day starts with an early morning pick up in Waikiki followed by a drive straight up the center of the island to the North Shore. You’ll spend several hours visiting some of the top surfing beaches in the world. We stop for lunch along the Anahulu river where you can Kayak or Paddle Board while eating lunch. We also stop at the Dole Pineapple Plantation where you can experience the delicious Dole Whip. Walk around the amazing plantation and learn the history pineapple growing and also experience a pineapple cutting demo with samples available. We then head back down the center of the island crossing over to the beautiful windward side as we drive along the coast to Hanauma Bay State Park. Finish off your afternoon with 2 hours of snorkeling at Hanauma Bay before you were returned to the Waikiki hotels in this full-day of exploring the island.
Want more adventure? For those experienced snorkelers you can go out past the inner reef to the deeper waters and see large schools of fish, green sea turtles and a spinner dolphin or two if your lucky. In whale seasons ( late November thru May ) you can watch Humpback Whales breech out of the water just off the bay.
